Mail's In!
The "Monster Madness" challenge stirred up some mail. Thank you! Keep it coming. I always enjoy your messages.
Megan, 14, and Mckinley, 12, both from Eagle Lake, Texas, wrote about the "Monster Madness" challenge.
Megan Hey, I love the drawing by Jean-Pierre. It was really creative and creepy, too. =D
Julie Hi Megan: I'll let him know you liked it. Jean-Pierre is a fan of Godzilla and big ships, as you can see. He's also got a great sense of humor.
Mckinley I like the picture. It was very cool. Have more pictures!
Julie I'll do my best. Pictures are great, especially ones like this. The people at Science News for Kids are wonderful at finding images to use when I can't. Together, we are always looking for the right picture.
Jerrell, 15, from Columbus, Miss., enjoyed the article.
Jerrell I love the facts you give us to learn about. Well, got to go. Bye. Your friend, Jerrell.
Julie Hi Jerrell. Thank you. It's nice to hear you are enjoying what I write. I spend quite a bit of time collecting information and cool stuff that I think readers might like. My curiosity is endless. Good to know someone else is like me!
Julie I'd also like to send a little message of my own. Ivars Peterson has been the editor for Science News for Kids. He helped develop the features you are enjoying, such as the SciFiZone. Now, Ivars is moving to a new job. We wish him well. We also want to thank him for all his hard work and enthusiasm.
To all who have taken time to write to me care of Science News for Kids, thank you very much. Please keep your e-mails coming! I look forward to opening my mailbox again soon!Julie Czerneda.
